Applicants for the Wooster Summer in Tuscany program must be in good academic and social standing and have a GPA of at least 2.5. The program is open to students from all majors. Students from other colleges and universities may also apply but the total enrollment will be limited to twenty students. All applicants will be required to write a short essay describing their interest in the program and provide reference from a faculty member. The application deadline is December 1st, 2016 and a deposit will be required by January 21st, 2017. Preparatory meetings, including “practice Italian” dinners, will take place on campus during the spring semester. No previous knowledge of Italian is required. Some reading will be required for both courses before departure for Italy and final written assignments will be due via email after our return to the United States.
