Wooster Summer in Tuscany will be under the direction of Madonna Hettinger, Professor of History at The College of Wooster. Professor Hettinger holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in History from Indiana University and specializes in the social and cultural history of Europe in the Middles Ages. Professor Hettinger has led several study-abroad experiences in England and helped found a study-abroad program for American undergraduate students in Sweden. Her recent research interests have led her to Italy and she is eager to share the historical resources of Tuscany with American students.
